The Finnegan School of Irish Dance

First opened its doors in September 2005, with a mere 10 students. Since then, we have achieved successful competitive results on both National and International levels.

While many of our dancers actively compete, we also understand that not all dancers are driven to compete. Our performance class allows children to perform for the love of dancing, providing our recreational dancers with the opportunity to share their talents in public without the pressure of competition.

All class sizes at the Finnegan School are limited to ensure that each dancer receives the individual attention they deserve to become the best dancer they can be. Our classes are instructed by studio owner, Patricia Finnegan TCRG/ADCRG/RECE, or Erin Canning TCRG, along with assistant teachers who thoroughly enjoy dancing and passing on their knowledge and talents to our students.

At the Finnegan School, we recognize and celebrate each dancer's individual abilities. While dancers may receive similar material, competitive routines are personalized to accommodate individual strengths and weaknesses.

Through weekly lessons, all dancers will improve basic skills and technique while working to meet optimal levels of personal accomplishment. We foster a rich and supportive environment that encourages your dancer to respect and appreciate the importance of setting and reaching personal goals.

Our goal is to provide a family-friendly environment where children are encouraged to create friendships, stay active, and develop their talent while forming an enduring appreciation for Irish dance, music, and culture.
